Adrienne Frantz portrays Amber Moore Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. She received two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Lead Actress in 2000 and 2001. In 2001, she won the coveted award.

Adrienne was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and knew right away that she had a passion to perform. As an outgoing only child, by age three, she was holding private dance recitals. By the time Adrienne turned thirteen, all of Detroit had become familiar with Adrienne's rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner," which she performed at numerous Piston, Neon, and Viper games.

At age sixteen, Adrienne left Michigan for New York City, where she landed numerous commercials. Soon she was chosen to do vocals for the television production of Bye, Bye Birdie, starring Jason Alexander and Vanessa Williams. She also appeared as Hermia in the New York Youth Theatre production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Adrienne had just entered her freshman year at Marymount College in New York City, as a theater major, when she won the role of Tiffany Thorne, one of the original characters on the NBC daytime drama Sunset Beach.

Adrienne's musical talents have been showcased on several B&B episodes. She won Best Performance by a Young Performer in a Daytime Serial at the 20th Annual Youth in Film Awards, as well as the Best Female Vocalist award at the 1997 International Music Awards.

When Adrienne is not working, she enjoys writing poetry, composing music, attending concerts, skiing, playing softball and relaxing with her two cats, Cuddles Patricia and Angel La Rue.

Adrienne celebrates her birthday on June 7. She stands 5' 4" and has blonde hair and blue/yellow eyes, which she describes as "cat's eyes."

  • Justin Torkildsen

Justin Torkildsen portrays Rick Forrester, son of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan, on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2001, Justin won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor.

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Justin learned to ski at the age of two and continued to enjoy outdoor activities as he grew up, including ski racing, ice hockey, track, skateboarding, rollerblading, mountain biking and rock climbing. He also had a wonderful opportunity teaching handicapped people to ski.

Justin attended Boulder High, where he was an all-star baseball player and earned a letter managing the girls' swim team. He also dressed up as the school mascot - a panther - for football and basketball games.

Justin's first acting experience came about after he answered an audition call for a local dinner theater. Armed with just a Polaroid photo of himself, he won the lead child role of Louis in The King and I. Other local theater parts followed and he received classical training in his roles in Shakespeare's Henry V and Richard III.

Justin has made quite a splash in commercial modeling, landing an important ad campaign for Nautica, who featured Justin modeling outdoor gear on their Web site and in 7-story tall billboards in Times Square and other locations in New York, as well as Chicago and Boston. Television talk-show host Roseanne saw one of these ads and booked him as a guest on her show where she put him through a dating-game segment. Justin also appeared in a national commercial for Nintendo's Gameboy.

Justin first came to the attention of B&B when his agent sent in a tape for a different role and they remembered him when they were recasting the character of Rick Forrester. The producers were obviously struck by his physical similarities to the previous actor in the role, but were even more impressed with his acting opposite Ashley Cafagna (ex-Kimberly) in the screen test and he got the role.

Justin has found a place to live in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles and is spending his free time writing a screenplay with his best friend. He has already written and performed stand-up comedy routines at Comedy Works in Denver, The Ice House in Pasadena, and The Comedy Store in West Hollywood. He loves to write comedy and seeing the resulting smiles on people's faces.

Justin loves cars, especially his 1978 Land Cruiser. He celebrates his birthday on July 3 and stands 5'11" with dark blonde hair and green eyes.
